Disabled Applicants
On the application form, we ask whether you have a disability. This is so we can give your application full and fair consideration and assist your access to the organisation. Therefore, before interview we will ask if you have any special needs or requirements for example, an interpreter or special seating.
We have a guaranteed interview scheme in place for applicants who consider themselves to have a disability. This means that if you meet the minimum level of essential skills for the job, as contained in the person spec, you will be invited to interview. Obtaining an interview under this scheme does not guarantee you the job. On completion of the selection process the most suitable candidate will be offered the post.
New Charter can produce material in Braille, audio or video format and large print for applicants who are hearing or visually impaired.
